I've made my way from DB admin and DEV to QA, managed full SDLC.
Done lots of development, testing, delivery, and management.
Now I coach chiefs and managers about how not to be a "mutant" at work and communications.
Topic: Why QAs become the best managers?
I once left my DEV career for QA, built some solid background and love testing.
Since then, for the past 10 years, I watched people from various IT backgrounds become chiefs and managers.
And even if DEV parties close the doors for me from now on, I will say that for sure:
QA folks become better managers and they do it repeatedly.
